This project will install paved bumpouts and lit crossing signs.

The goal of this project is to provide traffic calming at a busy crossing adjacent to an intersection near the high school. This is a key community artery, especially just before and after work hours as well as high school and daycare drop off times. The crossing is also adjacent to a bus stop, and is a key artery connecting the east side of the community, high school, arts and recreation centres. To meet this goal, the project has installed curb letdowns and extensions as well as a controlled pedestrian light up crossing at the intersection.
